How to convert
Open the local CSV tool, select your CSV or TSV, check the delimiter and encoding, then choose Excel .xlsx in the export panel.
Private conversion, without an upload
The file name, headers, cells and edits are processed in browser memory. Local CSV has no file-upload route and stores no CSV database. Only the XLSX copy you choose to download leaves the workspace. Read the privacy explanation for the exact technical scope.
Preserve identifiers
Values remain text, so postcodes, codes such as 00123 and long identifiers keep their zeros and precision.
Formula safety
Formula protection is enabled by default for values beginning with =, +, - or @.
